I was disappointed in the Fire Marshal training. 2 hours, and we didn't get to light one fire! We did get to play with CO2 and Water extinguishers, however, on a little training thing (not as much fun as putting out a car fire with a dry powder one, though).
All in all, I'm now a trained fire marshal for my building. And get to wear a day-glo jacket when the alarm goes off. How cool is that?
It's wicked cool. Does the day-glo match the fedora?
ReplyDeleteIs the fedora fireproof?
ReplyDeleteAlas, the akubra doesn't match the jacket, nor is it fire proof. Perhaps I shall have to keep my distance.
ReplyDeleteSurely they make safety helmets that fit over akubras? Or if they don't, it's about time someone invented such a thing.
ReplyDeleteOr a safety hat that is an akubra!
ReplyDeleteYou're supposed to put them out, not start them!
ReplyDeleteI don't think you want a day-glo akubra, though.
ReplyDelete(I had to add that my word verification was a message from Bill Gates to indy. "msbygt" obviously must mean "Microsoft bigot." Don't give in to these scare tactics. Firefox Forever!)
*laughs*
ReplyDeleteI never been in a thing like that, altho i remember my brother loved lighting fires...
*makes me think, puts the Doors record on*
"oohh Indy, light my fire !!"
RONFLMAO !!!
